Well kids, the song is about halfway arranged at this point and I have to say- I'm excited about it! It sounds pretty cool- who woulda thunk that dribbling basketballs could make such good kickdrum samples?

The only non-Sara's-gym sample used is an organ loop I made as a melodic anchor; I chose the organ because

(a) you know, organs... bodies... in the gym... that whole thing...

(b) the natural ambience of the recording suggests a large, open space (your gym must have huge ceilings!) ... like a church. Plus the whole connection of the cult of fitness and whatnot.

Anyway, I'll let y'all know when it's done- if anyone besides our gracious sample donor is interested.
